Jun 22, 2015 Windows 10 is able to run on all modern Mac hardware in a dual boot environment thanks to Boot Camp. If you’re aiming to run Windows alongside OS X on the same Mac, you’ll want to create a bootable Windows 10 installer drive out of a USB drive, which can be done quickly from OS X and the Boot Camp Assistant tool. In order to write on the USB drive on Mac, you need to format the device into Apple supported file systems like APFS or Mac OS Extended. Similar to Windows 10, you can format USB drives on Mac using Disk Utility app.

I have finished building my new PC and need to Windows 10 onto it. I downloaded my ISO file from Microsoft's website. I've seen that in all tutorials they use Bootcamp Assistant to create the disk. They insert the USB and then install everything onto the USB that way. But when I do it, Bootcamp won't let me continue until I have ejected my USB. I do that and then it lets me proceed. Again, unlike the tutorials, I get a different screen.
In the tutorials they get a screen asking them what they want to do. My mac goes directly to a screen asking me to partition my internal drive.
This is the screen I'm getting when I click continue. Could someone please help me out with how to get to the screen which the tutorials are getting.
